Slow, Not Broken

Diagnose a link that is up, passing traffic, and unusable - then route around it.

Scenario

The branch office reports that the application has become painfully slow over the last week. Nothing is down, every page eventually loads, and the previous engineer confirmed the server is healthy and the link is up. Traffic currently takes the direct circuit to the data centre; a second path exists through the transit site. Find out what is wrong with the direct path and get the branch onto something usable.
