Selective Static Redistribution
Advertise one static route into OSPF while withholding another.
Scenario
Calderwood Utilities reaches a partner organisation over static routes on its edge router, and the rest of the network needs to learn the one partner range covered by the interconnect agreement. A second partner range is internal to that agreement and must never appear in Calderwood's routing domain. Advertise only the approved range into OSPF.
