iBGP Route Learned but Never Installed

The prefix is in Core's BGP table but never reaches its routing table.

Scenario

Calder Logistics peers with a partner carrier from its edge router. The peering is established and the edge router can reach the partner's network, but no host on the core LAN can. The core router lists the partner prefix when BGP is queried directly, yet traffic to it leaves the building via the default path. Get the core router to actually install and use the partner route.
