Linux Router IP Forwarding

A Linux gateway answers locally but does not pass traffic between two legacy networks.

Scenario

Meridian Engineering is using a Linux host as the temporary gateway between two legacy networks during a router replacement. Hosts can reach their local gateway, but traffic stops at the Linux box and neither network can use the other side's service. Restore forwarding on the gateway and verify communication in both directions.
