STP Root Bridge Elected Wrong
The network is reachable, but spanning tree chose the wrong root and a longer forwarding path.
Scenario
Meadowbrook Harvesters added a redundant switch path to keep the packing floor online during maintenance. The network is still reachable, but monitoring shows traffic taking the longer path and the wrong switch acting as the spanning-tree root. Correct the election so forwarding uses the intended topology without removing redundancy.
