Trunk Missing a VLAN

One warehouse VLAN vanished across an inter-switch link while the other VLANs continued working.

Scenario

Norwood Maritime extended a warehouse VLAN to a second switch, and users on that floor can no longer reach the warehouse service. Other VLANs using the same inter-switch link continue to work, so the trunk itself is not simply down. Restore the affected VLAN across the link while keeping the existing segmentation intact.

Learning objectives

  • trunk allowed-vlan list
  • switch-to-switch trunking
  • per-vlan vs whole-link failure

Topology and configuration

This environment contains 7 devices (5 Hosts, 2 Switchs). You configure and troubleshoot the networking skills listed above.
